We all have a responsibility to the environment and this includes the major global engine manufacturers.

Engines are part of our daily lives whether we like it or not and it’s difficult to imagine a world without a technology that delivers so much to just about every aspect of modern life.

Kawasaki recognises that it has a corporate responsibility to contribute to and act upon environmental needs and legislation today and in the future.

EU Regulations

Kawasaki’s research and development teams take full account of the new EU Stage II Emissions Directive 97/68/EC (Amended) which includes small petrol engines used within the grounds-care sectors including lawn mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, generators and water pumps.

Similarly, technical development and manufacture satisfies full compliance in terms of sound and vibration levels as required by European legislation throughout Kawasaki’s non-road and utility engine ranges.
